Secondly, was my promise to blog more. I was off to a pretty good start, but have fallen behind from work and a couple of projects I’ve taken on recently. I have quite a few things to share with you, so keep an eye out for new updates.

Finally, I said I wanted to read more books. I haven’t gotten as far as I would like, but am halfway through three different books (I get bored with one and then begin another one, and keep bouncing back and forth). Kind of pathetic only reading 1.5 books in 45 days, huh? :)

1. Drink water. I am a big tea drinker. I love the Red Diamond sweet tea with Splenda you can get at Walmart. I like cokes too, but not like the tea. My first resolution is to cut out cokes and tea all-together and drink water. There are exceptions, like I can still drink Propel Vitamin Water, but less sugar and no caffeine is the goal.

2. Blog. I’m not guaranteeing I’ll blog everyday like my friend and great photographerDale Benfield did in 2009, but I found myself slacking last year with keeping up with the blog. My goal is to blog more and share more personal stuff including thoughts, personal photos and crazy, random things with you.

3. Read. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not someone who reads books for fun. I normally read photography forums online and news. Since the Kindle app for the iPhone came out, I bought some books for it with every intention to read them, but just never got around to it. This year will be different. I’m currently reading Tribes by Seth Godin (thanks DB) and have several others ready to go including How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie (thanks Becker),Fast Track Photographer by Dane Sanders and Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port. Cyndi told me I need to read some fiction books, though, so I’m on the hunt for some good fiction. Any suggestions?
