45 Days

The New Year was just 45 days ago and I wanted to give you an update on how I’ve been doing on my resolutions. My first one was to drink more water instead of soda or tea. I’m happy to say I’ve not had any tea or soda since December 31st. I’m pretty proud of myself for this, especially with Cyndi joking that she couldn’t support that lifestyle. :)

Secondly, was my promise to blog more. I was off to a pretty good start, but have fallen behind from work and a couple of projects I’ve taken on recently. I have quite a few things to share with you, so keep an eye out for new updates.

Finally, I said I wanted to read more books. I haven’t gotten as far as I would like, but am halfway through three different books (I get bored with one and then begin another one, and keep bouncing back and forth). Kind of pathetic only reading 1.5 books in 45 days, huh? :)

Snow Storm

Yesterday during the big snow storm, I walked around our neighborhood to get a few photos while the snow was coming down pretty hard. I went out earlier tonight and got some shots of the sun shining off of the trees.

Meaghan & Andrew | Arkansas Wedding Photography

Cyndi and I were so excited about Meaghan and Andrew’s wedding since we had so much fun with them during their engagement session. They were married at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs with the reception following at the Basin Park Hotel. It was a beautiful setting for such a beautiful couple! Neither Meaghan nor Andrew are from the area, and they had family and friends coming in from all over the place, so they had a few treats for their guests during the reception which included real moonshine!

Misti & Chad | Arkansas Family Portraits

I’m so glad Misti and Chad have asked us to photograph them the past three years. I met up with them in Bentonville to shoot them for their Christmas cards and had such a great time with them. We hit up the square and then headed to Bogle Park for a few more shots.

Rebecca & Travis | Fayetteville Engagement Photography

I was lucky enough to have Rebecca and Travis call me about photographing their engagement session back in November. We met up on campus and got some great shots while getting to know each other and then headed to one of my new favorite places to shoot in Fayetteville. I’m in love with the photographs I made and am glad to finally be able to share them with you. Enjoy!

Catherine + Matt | Heber Springs Wedding Photography

On October 25th, Cyndi and I were in Heber Springs for Catherine and Matt’s wedding. The ceremony was held downtown at First Baptist Church and the reception following at the Abbe House Inn. It was a beautiful but warm day, and everything was absolutely awesome! We love when couples are willing to humor us when it comes to trying new things and love what we got from them! Check out our favorites below.

Congratulations again, Matt and Catherine!
