It was such a fun, laid back day. Because of Christi’s careful planning (and her sister Kayla’s beautiful flowers) the day went off without a hitch!  The wedding was at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville and the reception was at the Fayetteville Country Club.

Ryan is the brother of Jen of Scott + Jen whose wedding I shot back in 2006 in Carroll, Iowa. It’s always nice to get to come back and see people who have been a part of our lives and business for a while.

It was a beautiful day during the preparation and ceremony, but as they were exiting the church, clouds were forming and we were sure to have a downpour. Sure enough, as soon as we pulled up to the reception site, it started raining the hardest I’ve seen in a while. Despite the bad weather, everyone seemed to have a great time!

Luckily, the winter weather had passed when we drove down that morning, and although it was a cold day, it was much nicer than the previous days! They were married at Immanuel Baptist Church with a cake and punch reception following in the Fellowship Hall. After that reception, they invited everyone to another reception downtown at the Women’s Junior League. We had a really great time and had a lot of photos to choose from to blog, so be prepared… there are a lot!

Congrats again! We had a great time with you!
